Job Title Reliability/Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Responsibilities GENERAL PURPOSE:
Initiates and coordinates necessary measures to assure the Technical Services Department's compliance with applicable codes, regulation, rules and policies regarding safety programs, mechanical integrity and reliability systems across the site. This position provides guidance and assistance to the SU's and BU's for inspection and testing services.

Education: BS Engineering Mechanical or Chemical- Preferred
Experience:
Minimum 7-10 yrs of Chemical Production /Plant Environment. Inorganic experience a plus.
Proven track record in MI and RCM implementation
Working Knowledge and Application of:
Reliability centered maintenance / PM&PdM programs
Recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP) such as ASTM Methods, API Standards, ASME Section VII Div 1, B 31.3, API570, and API510
29 CFR 1910 OSHA Compliance, general safety standards
29 CFR 1910.119 OSHA PSM Standard including Mechanical Integrity, Contractor Management, Management of Change (MOC)
ISO 9001/14001 and RC14001 Management Systems
Management Systems Auditing
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Quality Improvement techniques (CIP)
SAP Maintenance Module, Statistics analysis, ie Minitab, MSExcel

Job Responsibilities:
Organize and coordinate technical compliance for site maintenance activities. This includes managing staff and resources ensuring maintenance activities and schedules for work across the site meet applicable technical engineering standards and company requirements.
Develop and support implementation of Risk Based Inspection, Testing and Maintenance strategies.
Support of site inspection, testing and preventive maintenance and reliability activities. This work includes identification of applicable codes, standards and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP).
Review site maintenance procedures, practices, and equipment records making recommendations for improving predictive and preventative maintenance and incorporating good maintenance practices to ensure safe reliable performance. Prepare reports for site management on evaluation and recommendations for improving maintenance practices, code compliance and documentation.
