| Responsibilities | Requirements: B.S. Chemical Engineering ONLY; 2-8 years of experience. This company HIGHLY prefers someone out of a PSM-regulated plant with previous experience handling hazardous chemicals. Acceptable candidates will come out of batch or continuous chemical plants, or refining. Candidate needs in-plant production support and day-to-day 'fire-fighting' experience. Process optimization and process design experience would be a big plus. Engineers out of E&C firms are a long shot. Job Description: This engineer will be based at a batch & continuous chemical plant producing high-purity products using reactors, extensive powders handling, drying, and some distillation. This person's primary objective is to optimize existing processes and conduct day-to-day support of the operating unit. Relocation will include: realtors fees, closing costs, temporary living and move goods. The parent company is an international specialty chemicals company with facilities around the world. |
