| Responsibilities | EXPERIENCE: BS Chemical Engineer 1-3 years experience. May look at a recent grad with good grades and some type of related coop. SUMMARY: This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemical Engineer to gain valuable experience. This person will rotate between 3 types of jobs in 9-12 month assignments. The 3 areas will be Process Engineering doing Process Design and Project Work. Production Engineering doing plant process optimization and increasing yield. Pilot plant work doing process development and scale up. Chemical Engineering Rotation Position This position provides the incumbent with an introduction to this company`s chemical processes from both a Process Technology (R&D) and Process Engineering perspective. The incumbent will work on projects in both departments for the duration of up to 2 years (first 9 -12 months in one area, then 9 - 12 months in the other area). After the rotation has been completed the incumbent will partner with leadership to advance their career path into a process technology, process engineering, or production engineering role. Skills and knowledge expected to be gained from this position are: `Understanding of chemical processing equipment, raw materials, & products `Knowledge of the capital deployment process (concept development through implementation) `Familiarity with operating procedures and ISO requirements `Understanding of Safety and Process Safety procedures `Strong P&ID creation / modification skills `Understanding of company`s systems & business model |
