| Responsibilities | Specialty chemical manufacturer located in Colorado and is Internationally recognized as a leader in their field. Company is looking for a Sr Process Development and a Process Development Engineer. Will consider applicants who have the following qualifications: a PhD (for the Sr level) or MS (for the Jr level) in chemical engineering (possibly chemistry) with a strong background in process development and manufacturing of organic and/or organometallic compounds, 3 to 5 years of related industrial experience including significant experience with batch manufacturing. Candidates who have a Ph.D. and management experience in a batch chemical environment will be given preference. Sponsorship of Visas or Permanent Residency is not provided by the company. Duties: Will assist in companies process development effort and manufacturing operations. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and will work closely with all departments in the development and scale-up of safe, efficient and cost effective chemical processes. The PhD level candidate will spent their time in both the lab and pilot plant where the MS level person will split time between the pilot plant and manufacturing. Will scale up, troubleshoot and optimize processes and conduct PHA's. |
