| Responsibilities |
Company is part of North America's largest midstream energy networks, providing a variety of services, including transportation, gathering, storage, processing, fractionation and terminaling, to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, refined products, liquefied petroleum gases and petrochemicals. Qualifications The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Prior supervisory experience in a plant environment. Minimum of 5 years operating/maintenance/engineering experience in production plant processing, preferably out of a large scale continuous process utilizing distillation/fractionation. Refining, petrochems, olefins, light hydrocarbons, acids or gas processing all good. Strong background in mechanical roating equipment. Strong management, planning, organizational and leadership skills. Strong communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with regulatory agencies, company contacts, customers and employees. Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office applications and in other menu driven programs used by the company. Understand budgeting and financial processes. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to resolve problems and be able to work with location personnel to resolve the problem. Knowledge of various laws governing pipelines and processing facilities including but not limited to OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc. Must have ability to work in and effectively supervise and lead in a team environment. Duties: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing personnel in the safe, efficient and effective operation of company assets, emphasizing reliability, customer satisfaction and business plan execution for achievement of company goals and objectives. As well as: Ensuring full compliance with the Company's standards, procedures, and practices. Managing the daily and periodic administrative tasks incidental to operations and maintenance. Responsible for the management of the personnel assigned to the area for scheduling of the operations activities within the area. Responsible for the safety and regulatory compliance of the operations and maintenance activities within the area and responds to abnormal operations and maintenance incidents. Candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations; should have supervisor experience dealing in a diverse work force and in depth knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
