| Responsibilities |
Client is one of North America's largest midstream energy networks, providing a variety of services, including transportation, gathering, storage, processing fractionation and terminaling, to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, refined products, liquefied petroleum gases and petrochemicals. We are currently seeking a Field Engineer for our San Antonio area. The Field Engineer is responsible for pipeline related facilities projects that require engineering experience including:
Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Chemical or Mechanical preferred). 10 - 15 years prior work experience in a pipeline Field Engineering role is required. Proven ability designing and constructing engineering projects ensuring Engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory agency requirements is required. Engineering expertise including but not limited to optimization, operational efficiencies, scope development, project execution and process safety management activities is required. Working proficiency/knowledge of MS Excel and Project to develop cost estimates and schedules is required. Ability to travel up-to 50% domestically required. Project Management experience preferred.
Duties: Ensuring that projects are designed and constructed in accordance with the Company's Engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory agency requirements to meet necessary functionality and performance requirements. Planning, organizing, and managing capital projects. Preparing project design scopes in support of commercial development. Preparing bid packages for equipment and outside services including engineering, procurement, and construction activities. Participating in reviews of designs prepared by outside engineering contractors, vendors, fabricators, and manufacturers. Monitoring field construction activities to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications. Preparing project completion reports including construction material inventories and as-built drawings. Preparing cost estimates and schedules. Providing technical support to the Company's operations.
