This person will have responsibilities for an 8 person unit with the duties breaking down as
25% Scheduling of the process runs for the customers
15% Developing, Establishing and Maintaining SOP`s
10% Safety compliance of all procedures
The remaining 50% Process Support and working directly with the customers and site issues.
They will take someone who is a Process Engineer or Supervisor or even someone on the business side of the chemical process industry.
The plant manager is looking for someone that can be a future plant manager.

EXPERIENCE:
BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred may conisider a chemistry degree as well.
5-12 years of chemical process experience is required, five years experience as a supervisor preferred.
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have excellent communication and organization skills.
Must have excellent managerial skills as follows: detailed oriented, follow up well, plans and strategies, good motivator, safety commitment, quality commitment, results oriented, assertive, flexible, process knowledge.

Manages the process and production operations in the Process Area under the direction of the Plant Manager, the primary objective being the effective utilization of equipment and personnel. This position also provides direct input into the major capital projects to ensure these projects deliver the required operation scope of work, as well as meets operator and maintenance expectations. Supports the goals and objectives, long term strategic goals that are identified as critical to the success of the Recycles Business Segment, Process Business Segment.

DUTIES:
Accountable for the safety performance of your department as outlined in your annual goals.
Plans and directs daily activities of the process equipment in the north production area for the Organic Process Business Segment. Plans and directs daily activities of the Recycles Business Segment. Plans and directs daily activities of the column equipment in the production areas.
Recommends required labor resources for efficient operation of your building to meet the business objective.
Continuously evaluates, recommends, and implement improvements to the plant processes and operating procedures. Works closely with engineering and the plant management staff to identify and implement process improvements.
Reviews expenses with the Plant Manager and Shift Supervisors to identify and implement cost reduction activities and ensure that expenses are controlled at or below budgeted levels.
Ensures that the plant equipment is maintained to operate safely and efficiently. Works with the maintenance department to ensure that all repairs are made on a timely basis and that the necessary `preventive maintenance` is performed per predetermined schedules.
Defines, communicates, and enforces with the shift supervisors the plant housekeeping standards.
Works with the E.H.S. department to ensure that safety and regulatory compliance training is conducted to meet this companies and regulatory agency requirements.
Enforces safety and regulatory policies and procedures through a continuous audit and re-education process.
Responsible for the investigation and corrective actions efforts for your building processes for ISO 9000 related items or as directed by the Plant Manager.
Responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of all CG and corporate policies, procedures, Prism, and required ISO 9000 documentation.
Responsible to update and revise all product specific SOP`s per vessel used in your department.
Responsible for creating a product specific SOP for a new vessel when the product specific SOP already exists for a different vessel. Note: Engineering is still responsible for new trial product specific SOP`s only.
Responsible to create SOP`s for Recycles Business Segment pertinent to the operation of the equipment in the operation of the recycle products has never used SOP`s. The expectation is to create SOP`s for these products with the unit operations using the Process Segment model. The de-drumming and drumming, operations also need SOP`s created. Finally the blending operation whether in B5, in tanks, or in tank trucks also needs SOP`s using the Recycles Business Segment model.
Accountable that each employee is properly trained on any revised Product Specific SOP.
This position is responsible to give written communication of the expected activity to meet the production schedule.

Work Relationships:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
The shift supervisor backs up this position.
This position is back up to the Plant Manager.
This position interacts with Customers, Corporate, Shift Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisor, Production Coordinators, Laboratory, and Sales in regards to the Process Business Segment.
This position also interacts with this companies distribution network with the branch customer service and sales personnel in regards to the Recycles Business Segment.
