| Responsibilities | EXPERIENCE: BS EE with 3-10 years of experience. Chemical Industry experience is a plus some tye of In-plant experience is preferred. Additional consulting firm experience is a plus. Knowledge of the following: Electrical installations in flammable liquid and combustible dust processes. NFPA 70 National Electric Code. NFPA 70E and it's application into the workplace and work procedures. Coordination Study and Arc Flash Analysis. Review calculation reports provided by outside consultants. Field instrumentation specifications, loop sheet design, oil sample and thermography analysis. Knowledge of Control Systems such as: * Rosemount Delta V and RS-3 * Allen Bradley PLC's * Programming ability is not required DUTIES: The electrical engineer will support the project engineering and maintenance groups at the Kankakee site. The site includes 20 production buildings with a variety of electrical classifications and 30 support buildings such as warehouses, offices and maintenance shops. The job position encompasses process instrumentation, power distribution, lighting and grounding systems. The electrical engineer will support new project design and ensure installations are per Code. He/she will assist maintenance by recommending new technologies to improve the reliability of E&I systems. He /she will support the process controls engineer regarding DCS systems. |
