| Responsibilities | Job Requirements: B.S. Electrical or Chemical Engineering; 5+ years of experience. This client wants DCS experience (ideally Fischer-Provox) and PLC (ideally Allen-Bradley) experience. This company would like someone out of a chemical plant through they would consider people out of pulp/paper or utilities. A big plus for this employer would be someone with field instrumentation knowledge including pressure/temperature/flow meters. Job Description: This person will be supporting batch and continuous reacted resins plant that is 100% computer controlled either through DCS or PLC systems. There are plans in the works to switch completely over to either Delta-V or Allen-Bradley control systems. This person will be required to day-to-day support for control issues and solve the problem immediately without needing to spend a lot of time in the office analyzing the problem. This person will also be doing design through installation of new instrumentation and controls. This plant is one of 15 chemical plants that this company has in the U.S. |
